Waterjet Cutting

Cut through steel as thick as 3″ and aluminum as thick as 6″!

Waterjet cutting is a proven process in precision part production, being able to make complex flat parts out of materials including metal, plastic, glass, ceramics, and composites. WaterJets use water and abrasives, heat is not used as a cutting tool, which eliminates heat that can cause structural changes in materials.

The smooth finish it leaves behind with a minimal burr can often eliminate the need for secondary machining. Waterjets can provide tolerances as close as +/- 0.003” and is a viable alternative to plasma, wire EDM and laser cutting with no added tooling costs
